Malaysia PM Mahathir Mohamad to be guest of honor on March 23, says ISPR.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has on Wednesday announced that Pakistan Day will be celebrated with great fervor on March 23 and Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad will be the guest of honor.

ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistan Day Parade slogan will be ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ (Long Live Pakistan). It has further been told that F-16 fighter jets of Turkey and China’s J-10 aircrafts will display aerial acrobats on the occasion.

Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and officials from Sultanate of Oman will grace the ceremony with their presence. Contingents from Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan will perform march-past.

In a tweet, ISPR DG wrote “PM Malaysia Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad will be the Guest of Honour. Guests include Def Minister Azerbaijan, COAS Bahrain & govt officials from Oman. Various contingents from Azerbaijan,Bahrain,China, KSA, Sri Lanka & Turkey will participate in Parade.”
