Summary Moeen Akhtar's funeral prayers were offered after Zuhr, and he was buried shortly afterwards.
The legendary performer passed away on Friday evening. The ailing comedian was sufferring from a heart condition, and expired on his way to the hospital after complaining about chest pains earlier in the evening.The daughter of the much-lauded artist was abroad at the time of his death, thus delaying the funeral arrangements. She has arrived back in the country and Moeen Akhtar has now been buried in Karachi. His funeral prayers were offered earlier in the afternoon.People from all walks of life attended the prayers to pay their respects, including Provincial Minister Dr. Sagheer Ahmed, entertainment personalities such as Faisal Sabzwari,Umer Sharif, and Junaid Jamshed.
