CM Balochistan Jam Kamal inspects rain-affected areas
Mir Jam Kamal Khan said that rescue and relief operations in the affected areas are under way.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan on Sunday made aerial inspection of rain-affected districts to the province. He was accompanied by provincial ministers Mir Ziaullah Longov and Noor Muhammad Dummar.
Mir Jam Kamal while talking on the occasion said that several districts of Balochistan, including Ziarat, Kan-Mehtarzai, Kalat, Lasbela, Turbat and Qila Abdullah were affected due to recent snowfall and heavy rains.
He said that rescue and relief operations in the affected areas are under way and heavy machinery is being used to clear the roads as several people have been stranded due to heavy snowfall.
