Past govts, police system responsible for Sahiwal incident: Punjab CM spokesperson

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab chief minister s spokesperson Dr Shahbaz Gill on Saturday declared the former governments, police mismanagement and political appointments responsible for Sahiwal incident.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, he vowed to provide justice to the family of Khalil.
Gill briefed the media over Sahiwal incident’s JIT report.
“The 40-year performance of past governments, untrained Punjab police and political appointment resulted in Sahiwal tragedy,” he maintained.
Gill told that the JIT completed its probe into the incident rapidly on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab CM.
“The report has termed Khalil’s family innocent while the police fired on their own vehicle to save themselves. On the other hand, Zeeshan has links with terrorists,” told the spokesperson.
“Khalil’s parents will be give Rs1 crore while Rs2crore will be submitted in the trust whose monthly profit will be provided to the children,” he said.
