KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) spokesperson on Friday said that gas supply to Sindh s compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations to be resumed at 8pm instead of 8am today (Saturday), Dunya News reported.

The company’s spokesman said that now the CNG station will open after 36-hour shutdown in the province. He said that the decision was taken due to shortage of gas in the system and to fulfill the demand of domestic and commercial customers.

Earlier, the SSGC had announced to resume gas supply to the CNG sector at 8 am on March 2.

According to Sindh government, at least 60 percent of Pakistan s gas is produced in the province but it does not get its due share under article 152 of the constitution.
