ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Monday asserted that state writ is actually ‘barbarism’ and cannot be established while killing Kashmiris.

Addressing a Kashmir conference in Islamabad, he urged that Kashmiris should be given right to self-determination.

“Kashmir was never a part of India and will never be. The people cannot be suppressed by force. Peace cannot be established while deploying 10 Indian personnel ona single Kashmiri,” the minister suggested.

Fawad maintained that Pakistan will take two steps forward if India will take one however; without Kashmir this advance will be very difficult.

“We have fought three wars with India and can also battle the fourth. But an option of negotiation is still open. Let’s sit together. You present your stance and we will bring forward ours,” he stressed.

“The situation in occupied Kashmir worsened after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani. India cannot conceal the facts. The fire will escalate not quench by spilling blood,” said Fawad.

“Poverty is increasing day by day in India. We reiterate our offer of dialogue but it takes two to tango,” he declared.
