WATCH: Maryam Nawaz struck in head by camera
Maryam Nawaz was hit by camera as she arrived at Jinnah Hospital.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz got hit by a TV camera on her head when she arrived at Jinnah Hospital to meet her father Mian Nawaz Sharif.
The moment was caught on camera as she stepped out of the car and started walking towards Nawaz Sharif’s room at the hospital. Suddenly, a cameraman advanced from her left side, hitting the camera on her head.
The incident occurred due to rush as Maryam Nawaz was surrounded by PML-N workers and media persons. Journalists had lined up to make video of her entering the hospital.
According to cameramen, Maryam’s security team and PML-N workers pushed them, resulting in one cameraman knocking into her.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who is serving a seven-year imprisonment in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills corruption case, was shifted to hospital on Friday from Kot Lakhpat jail for cardiac treatment.
The government is still awaiting recommendation of the provincial health department regarding former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s treatment, despite recommendations of the specialised medical board comprising senior doctors which was formed on the instructions of the government.
Meanwhile, his family members have been keeping their lips sealed on the matter when approached by the media.
