CCPA recommends increasing power tariff by Rs1.93 per unit
CPPA had forwarded the request to NEPRA.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) on Friday recommended increasing power tariff by Rs1.93 per unit.
Details suggest that CPPA had forwarded the request to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) under the fuel price adjustment of January.
NEPRA will hear the plea on Feberuary 20 which says that 22 percent electricity was produced from furnace oil and 14 percent from Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) IN January.
The electricity was sold on pricey rates to customers due to production from firnace oil.
