PM chairs federal cabinet meeting, discusses 20-point agenda
PM Imran Khan presided over a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is presiding over a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad today (Thursday) to review a 20-point agenda, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, anti-drugs policy 2018 is being presented during the meeting. The relaxation in Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules 2004 in infrastructure and economic inclusion projects are being deliberated with the participants.
The approval of appointment of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institutions (EOBI) chairman and Gwadar Port Authority chairman is also included in the agenda.
The cabinet is also giving principled approval of PIMS ordinance 2019 document. Amendments in National Disaster Management Act 2010 and approval of the appointment of Agricultural Development Bank president are also part of agenda.
National Economic Council’s report for the fiscal year 2017-18 is also being presented during the cabinet meeting.
