Summary Residential and commercial areas are facing four to six hour a day unscheduled power outage.
Despite the fact that the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has increased the gas supply to the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC), people get no load shedding relief.According to the SSGCL, supply by the KESC has been increased to 50 percent after the upgradation of line pack. The Pakistan State Oil (PSO) is also providing additional furnace oil to the KESC but the citizens of Karachi are still suffering from unscheduled load shedding. Apart from the power outage due to the technical faults, four to six hours load shedding is being made in Karachi.
