ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Tuesday said that Pakistan has a relation of grief and pain with Kashmir.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the minister asserted that military and political leadership is with Kashmiris for attainment of rights.

“Whenever Kashmir undergoes any calamity, the entire Pakistan feels the pain. At least 10 Indian soldiers are closely watching a single Kashmiri,” he maintained.

The freedom movement cannot be suppressed in Kashmir, stressed Fawad.

He notified that so called Indian democracy is being unveiled in occupied Kashmir.

“India is oppressing the Kashmiris. It sees the valley as merely a territory whereas Pakistan takes it as a matter of human rights violation. We have offered talks to India with open heart,” declared Fawad.

Earlier in his messge on Kashmir Solidarity Day, the minister said that the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan has been playing active role for protection of fundamental rights of the people of Kashmir.

He said that Pakistan would continue to expose Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and highlight Kashmir issue at all levels. The minister said that resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of Kashmiri masses was imperative for durable peace in South Asia.
