Three killed as roof of two-storey house collapses in Karachi
The mishap took place in Karachi's Korangi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three people including a woman lost their lives as roof of a two-storey house collapsed in Karachi today (Monday).
The mishap took place in Gilgit Colony in Korangi.
Security personnel and rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to Jinnah Hospital where they were identified as 55-year-old Liaquat Ali, 25-year-old Sofia and six-year-old Ayyan.
The officers told that six people were present in the house at the time of incident however, three miraculously saved their lives.
The victim’s son told that his family was having land dispute with his parental aunt. Yesterday, my aunt came to our house and threw something on the roof after which the mishap occurred, he added.
