Summary Launching of a power project in Punjab was decided in talks between Shahbaz and the Chinese company.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif held talks with the Chinese companies in Beijing in which initiation of a 10 megawatts hydel power project was decided.In the meeting with the Chinese authorities, Shahbaz said that he was visiting china with an agenda of cooperation in education, health and power sectors in Punjab.He said that Pakistan sought bilateral trade and investment from China instead of aid.After meeting with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, a big Chinese company, Sinotech, agreed to set up a hydel power project in Punjab.
