SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – Family members of four people killed in Sahiwal by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday have blocked Sahiwal bypass and refused to end the protest till lodging of a First Information Report (FIR) on their terms against the accused officers.

The injured child Umair and his two sisters Muneeba and Hadia aged below five years have been shifted to the General Hospital in Lahore for medical attention.

Meanwhile, administrative authorities tried to negotiate with the protesters to end their demonstration; however, they have been demanding “justice” for the victims.

Protesters have been expressing anger that the FIR was lodged against killed family members and they were being called “terrorists”, and further demanded lodging of the FIR at the police station in the precinct of which the incident occurred.

Besides, initial autopsy report has revealed that Khaleel received 13 and Zeeshan received 10 bullets, whereas Nabeela was shot 4 and Areeba was shot 6 times.

According to the CTD officials’ new claim, Zeeshan wanted to supply explosives to Khanewal, and in this regard, an FIR has been registered against them under terrorism section in Lahore.
