SC directs UCs, NADRA to register marriages of Christians
SC ordered the govt to take legal steps to ensure timely registration of Christians' marriages.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has directed Union Councils to register the marriages of Christians.
While announcing the decision, the top court has ordered the government to take legal steps to ensure timely registration of Christians’ marriages.
It has also directed National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to issue certificates in this regard.
