PM chairs meeting to discuss issues relating to maritime affairs
Maritime potential of the country and related issues came under discussion during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday chaired a high level meeting at the PM Office to discuss issues related to maritime affairs, Dunya News reported.
Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, and senior officers were present during the meeting.
Maritime potential of the country and related issues came under discussion during the meeting. Inter-ministerial committee comprising of senior representatives from the concerned ministries and Naval Headquarters constituted under Minister for Maritime Affairs to propose reforms in maritime sector.
