Punjab Schools education secretary had purchased 43 properties and accepted 12 gifts in his tenure

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday initiated probe against Punjab Schools Education Secretary Sheikh Zafar Iqbal assets beyond known means case, Dunya News reported.

It had been divulged that Punjab Schools education secretary had purchased 43 properties and accepted 12 gifts during his tenure.

According to sources, NAB has launched inquiry in case pertaining to assets beyond income means against Sheikh Zafar who is accused of making 62 properties comprising 43 purchased properties and 12 gifts.

Sources privy to development further added that these properties worth billions of rupees include flour mills, rice mills, petrol pumps, CNG stations and also properties in abroad.

"Sheikh Zafar said, I own properties worth into billions rupees and I also know an investigation in this regard is underway against me but why I tell someone else about my assets and properties", Dunya News added.
