Asad Umar chairs ECC meeting, discusses vital economic indicators
Umar summoned report from Ministry of Industry regarding plan for the restoration of Pakistan steel.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday has chaired meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the matter related to custom duties and sales tax relief on cotton import has been sent to revenue division.
The foreign minister also summoned report from Ministry of Industry regarding plan for the operationalization of Pakistan Steel. The ECC desired for early completion and submission of the study.
The meeting has also reviewed different sectors of the economy and the vital economic indicators.
