SC to hear fake bank accounts case today
Asif Ali Zardari in his reply submitted to the court has rejected the findings of the JIT report.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan will hear the fake bank accounts case at the main Principal Seat, Islamabad today (Monday).
A three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will take up the case involving former president Asif Ali Zardari and others.
During the previous hearing the court had asked Asif Ali Zardari to submit his reply in the court. The court had also asked the government to review its decision of placing Asif Ali Zardari and others names on Exit Control List (ECL).
The apex court had also said that the federal government would not be allowed to impose governor rule in Sindh province.
On the other hand, Asif Ali Zardari in his reply submitted to the court has rejected the findings of a report compiled by the joint investigation team (JIT) probing the scam.
