Opposition begins to voice concern over public, economy after JIT report: Fawad
Fawad was responding to diatribes of opposition leaders in the media.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that the opposition has started expressing concerns after JIT report and sentences awarded by courts.
Responding to diatribes of opposition leaders in the media, he said it would have been better had they become worried about people’s pain and economic meltdown when they were in power.
The Minister said that the people of Pakistan thrown them out of power when alarm bell had rung. He said the entire nation is facing the brunt of misdeeds of previous rulers, who had ruined the economy with loans.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said these people mercilessly plundered nation’s wealth and now they are making hue and cry to pose them as innocent.
He suggested the opposition leaders to hold a news conference against Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, asking them to return looted wealth, to solve economic problems.
He said opposition leaders are committing an offence of aiding the crime by holding press conferences in support of those,who had plundered Pakistan’s wealth.
The Minister said critics are not digesting the practical step being taken by the government for the construction of Mohmand Dam.
He said honesty is the main trait of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s personality.
