Funeral prayers of martyrs of Loralai offered
Several army officials, soldiers and residents of the area attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The funeral prayers of two of the four security forces officials embraced martyrdom during an operation in Balochistan’s Loralai district, were offered on Wednesday.
According to details, the funeral prayers of Subedar Munawar Hussain and soldier Naqeeb Murtaza and two other soldiers were laid to rest in their home town.
Several army officials, soldiers and residents of the area attended the Namaz-e-Janaza.
It is pertinent here to mention that at least four security forces officials had embraced martyrdom and two others wounded, while four terrorists were also killed during an operation in Balochistan’s Loralai district.
Late Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had issued a statement informing that security forces had foil terror plot, when terrorists attempted to enter the FC training centre, but were stopped at the entrance.
ISPR reported that terrorist resorted to indiscriminate fire and entered in a compound adjacent to check-post which was immediately cordoned off by the security forces.
The valiant and timely action of security forces denied entry of terrorists into residential area which would have resulted into more number of casualties.
In subsequent operation 4 terrorists were killed including a suicide bomber who blew himself during the operation.
