Four killed, 27 injured in separate road accidents in Dunyapur

At least four people were killed and 27 other were wounded in five separate accidents in Dunyapur.

DUNYAPUR (Dunya News) – At least four people were killed and 27 other were wounded in five separate road accidents caused due to fog in Dunyapur on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, first accident occurred at Dunyapur, Lodhran-Khanewal National Highway in which three people were killed in collision between a truck and trailer.

At least 15 persons were wounded when a truck collided with a bus and van at Multan Road near Jalla Arain area. Separately, nine persons sustained injuries in a traffic pile up near Bhatti Hotel at the Khanewal Road.

A traffic warden of Motorway Police identified as Saeed Ahmad was critically wounded when he was hit by a vehicle. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. At least six persons of a same family were wounded when their car collided with a bus near Bhatti Hotel.

Rescue teams have shifted all the dead and injured to hospital. According to rescue sources, multiple accidents occurred due to dense fog.
