Sheikh Rashid considers referring to SC over Shehbaz's appointment as PAC chairman

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad reiterated his criticism over the appointment of Shehbaz Sharif as the chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Thursday, Rashid refused to accept Sharif as PAC head and considered referring to Supreme Court over the matter.

He also bashed Rana Sanaullah saying that people like him have damaged democracy.

A total of 20 new trains will be run before completion of first year of the incumbent government, announced the minister.

Rashid asserted that two VVIP train services will be launched before March 23 next year.

The Minister said two new air-conditioned and two economy class trains will also be run.
