PM Imran presides over cabinet meeting in Islamabad

The federal cabinet discussed a 13-point agenda during today's meeting.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet meeting on Thursday held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.

The cabinet offered fateha for late former MNA Ali Raza Abidi and also for the father of Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri.

According to sources, the participants approved the issuance of bonds in Chinese capital market. The Cabinet also reviewed issuing bonds for Islamic banking.

The issue of renewal of mobile companies’ licenses was also included in the cabinet meeting agenda.

The cabinet also approved grant for steel mills, special grant of Rs 5 crore for the FIA, while grant for Higher Education Commission and Ministry of Education was also approved during the meeting.

The cabinet also gave approval to an agreement with Palestine in the health sector while appointment of chairman NEPRA and its member was also part of the agenda.

The Federal Cabinet has decided to place all 172 people mentioned in the JIT report regarding fake accounts and money laundering on Exit Control List.

The meeting expressed the resolve that accountability process will continue without any discrimination to purge the country of menace of corruption.
