PML-N to continue protest against non-issuance of Saad Rafique's production orders

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif on Monday chaired a meeting at the parliament in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the PML-N lawmakers decided they would continue their protest in NA session against the non-issuance of production orders for detained MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique.
The party decided against being a part of standing committee on environment and climate change while consultation will be held with the opposition regarding other committees.

It was also decided that a mass-contact campaign will be started by PML-N leaders from December 30. Advice will also be sought regarding convention on party’s foundation day.
Former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal, who heads the 18-member central organising committee formed to develop a roadmap for PML-N’s reorganisation, briefed the meeting participants on the matter.
The party decided immediate reorganizing and filling th vacate positions. Iqbal will present a report to the party head after three days in this regard.
Moreover, the social media wing will also be reactivated.
