Karachi: Extortionist opens fire in hotel, IG Sindh takes notice
The extortionist opened fire, however, no casualties were reported.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Inspector General (IG) Sindh on Monday has taken notice of the extortion cases in Karachi that are increasing day by day.
The notice was taken after the recent incident when an extortionist opened fire in a local restaurant in Karachi Kharadar over the hotel owner’s refusal to give extortion money.
The extortionist was fled from the scene throwing an extortion slip for receipt of Rs1 million extortionist money. A foreign contact number was also mentioned on the slip.
The extortionist opened fire, however, no casualties were reported.
The IG Sindh has directed to investigate the matter and to arrest the suspect.
