Govt's performance in parliament during its first 100 days 'unsatisfactory'
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also not responded to the questions of the members.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has completed its first 100 days after coming into power amid high expectations.
During its 100 days, the government’s performance in parliament remained unsatisfactory as it only managed to pass one bill and no action was taken regarding formation of public account and standing committees.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also not responded to the questions of the members as per his promise while continuous clashes between opposition parties and government representatives were witnessed in the sessions.
The ratio of Khan’s attendance in 24 sessions of National Assembly in 100 days was 29 percent as he only attended seven proceedings.
Opposition parties staged walk out for five times whereas the assembly approved eight different resolutions and 42 attention notices were taken during this tenure.
