Money laundering case: Zardari, Faryal Talpur to appear before JIT today
Bilawal Bhutto will not appear before JIT and Farooq H Naik will appear on his behalf.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur will appear before Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in money laundering case today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not appear before JIT and Farooq H Naik will appear before the JIT on his behalf and will submit replies of questionnaire.
The JIT investigating a massive money laundering case in Sindh had summoned PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, his father Asif Ali Zardari and aunt Faryal Talpur at 11am today.
Bilawal and Zardari are the chief executives of the Zardari Group, while Talpur is a director of the company. They will be asked questions about giving benefits to the Omni Group’s industries, as well as money received in the Zardari Group’s bank accounts via fake accounts.
