Model Town tragedy: Shahbaz to appear in SC today
The SC had issued notices to former PM Nawaz Sharif, former Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and 139 others.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A two-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear the application seeking the formation of a new joint investigation team (JIT) in the Model Town case at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry today (Monday).
The SC had issued notices to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif and 139 others.
The notice issued for Shahbaz Sharif was received at the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Lahore office. NAB sources informed that all arrangements have been finalized for Shahbaz Sharif, appearance in the SC today.
