NAB chairman assures Eden victims that Bureau would take every possible step to recover the money

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore chapter’s Director General Shahzad Saleem on Monday called on anti-graft watchdog chairman chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal and briefed him about the Bureau’s performance.

Shahzad Saleem also briefed the NAB chairman about progress made on the mega corruption cases.

Speaking on the occasion, Justice (r) Javed Iqbal directed the DG NAB Lahore to accelerate investigations and said that the anti-graft agency was implementing “accountability for all”.

“NAB is working tirelessly to eradicate corruption from the country as the corruption has become a cancer for the country,” he added.

He further directed the officials to complete the investigations according to law and evidence within 10 months.

Addressing the victims of Eden Housing Scheme, Justice Javed Iqbal said that the ant-graft watchdog will review issues according to law.

He further assured the victims that the Bureau would take every possible step to recover the money.

The victims thanked the NAB chairman.
