SBCA official arrested for allegedly taking bribe
SBCA official demanded Rs8 million as bribe but he finalized the deal in Rs2.5 lac.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Official of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) on Friday has been caught red handed while allegedly taking bribe for approval to build a private factory.
According to details, Dunya News has obtained video showing that both the parties met at a hotel and discussed the matter.
SBCA official demanded Rs8 million as bribe but he finalized the deal in Rs2.5 lac and put the brown envelope full of money in his pocket.
Arriving at the spot, anti-corruption personnel recovered the amount and detained the official. A case has also been registered in this regard.
