KDA kicks off anti-encroachment operations in provincial capital
On October 27, CJP had ordered Karachi mayor to end illegal encroachments in 15 days.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Karachi Development Authority (KDA) has kicked off anti-encroachment operations today (Tuesday).
KDA staff and police force reached on the spot to remove illegal encroachments in the premises of parking plaza and passport office.
Earlier, on October 27, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar had ordered Karachi mayor Wasim Akhtar to remove illegal encroachments in 15 days.
The top judge had given task of flattening illegal encroachments in Karachi in 15 days to Waseem Akhtar saying, “You should not rely on anyone else as the court has given you the authority.”
