Three killed, 17 injured as bus overturns in Khairpur
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Civil Hospital in Khairpur and Sukkur.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three people were killed and 17 others were wounded when a speeding bus overturned at the National Highway in Khairpur on Monday night, Dunya News reported
According to details, the bus overturned due to breaking of tie rod in Baberlo area of Khairpur, killing three persons on the spot and injuring 17 others. Police sources said that the ill-fated bus was going to Karachi from Sadiqabad.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the the injured to Civil Hospital in Khairpur and Sukkur. Rescue sources said that two of the deceased were identified as Kamal Din and bus driver Maqbool Khalidi while the identity of the third is not yet known.
