(Dunya News) – President Arif Alvi on Sunday quashed rumors of implementation of governor rule in Sindh in the wake of wide-spread money laundering through fake accounts.
He was talking to media at Islamabad Airport before departing on three-day official visit to Turkey. He termed all such speculations reckless and baseless.
“[Federation] will cooperate with provincial govt for development in Sindh”, Alvi stated while adding at the same time, “The rumors of arrival of Israeli aircraft are baseless. Pakistan is not going to establish diplomatic ties with Israel.”
President also thanked Saudi Arabia for awarding Pakistan yet another bailout package against backdrop of economic turmoil.
“Pakistan will soon emerge triumphant from the current tough phase”, reiterated Alvi.
Alvi was all praise for Turkish president Erdogan. He said, “Democracy has strengthened in Turkey in tenure of incumbent president.”
