Bail plea of Dr Shahid Masood in PTV corruption case rejected
Special Judge Kamran Basharat Mufti passed orders pertaining to the arrest of the anchorperson.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A special judge rejected on Thursday the bail plea of anchorperson Dr Shahid Masood in a case relating to alleged corruption in PTV.
Special Judge Central Kamran Basharat Mufti conducted the proceedings on a petition filed by Dr Shahid Masood whose counsel presented arguments pertaining to the extension in protective bail.
The judge after hearing the arguments cancelled the bail and ordered authorities concerned to arrest the anchorperson. Dr Masood, however, had already left the court premises.
