Fawad says PTI emerged as 'single largest party' in by-polls

(Dunya News) – Despite below-par performance in by-elections, Federal Minister for information and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again emerged as ‘national party’ in the by-elections.
He made these remarks in Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath.
“Out of eleven seats of National Assembly, PTI has managed to secure six. These results are positives. Pakistan has expressed confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan”, claimed Fawad.
The federal minister also took a dig at Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) while taunting that there was no rigging on seats where Nawaz-led party had secured victory.
On losing ground in Faisalabad, Fawad revealed that party’s top brass already knew winning seat would be difficult.
