Boarding passes were issued manually to long queues of international flights' passengers

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - SITA system outage affected international flights at all airports across the country on Thursday as the process of issuing boarding pass was stopped due to fault in the system.

According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson, all foreign airlines use SITA system for issuing boarding passes to passengers.

Sources said that technical fault in boarding pass processing and issuing system has affected international flights at airports of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.

Boarding passes were issued manually to long queues of international flights  passengers after the fault in the system.

According to PIA spokesperson, the airline s domestic flights system is working alright and departures of airline s domestic flights are not disturbed.
