PM Imran to chair federal cabinet meeting today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting at 11:30am at the PM office today (Thursday), Dunya News reported. The cabinet will take up a nine-point heavy agenda during today’s meeting.

Sources said that the matter of putting or withdrawing the names from Existing Control List (ECL) will come under review during the meeting while the matter of appointment of chairman of the Privatization Commission is also part of the Cabinet meeting agenda.

The cabinet will also review the procedure of appointment of Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board besides giving approval to the appointment of Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.

The meeting will also review the proposal of Trading Corporation of Pakistan to soften the rules on the import of urea. The issue of tax exemption on four vehicles received in donations is also part of the agenda.

The cabinet will also give approval to industrial cooperation agreement between Pakistan and Morocco. The cabinet will also endorse the decisions of Economic Coordination Committee.
