Acid attack injures woman in Chishtian
Hospital sources said that 60 percent body of victim has been affected in the acid attack.
CHISHTIAN (Dunya News) – A man allegedly entered the house of a 40-year-old woman in Chishtian on Sunday and threw acid on her after she refused to marry her daughter with him, Dunya News reported.
The woman suffered severe burn injuries to her face and body in acid attack. Rescue teams shifted the victim to hospital in Bahawalpur in critical condition.
Hospital sources said that 60 percent body of victim has been affected in the acid attack. The attacker managed to escape from the scene after the incident. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
