Minor girl killed as elevated water tank collapses near Thatta
Residents retrieved the dead and injured from debris and shifted them to Civil Hospital in Makli.
THATTA (Dunya News) – A minor girl was killed and five other children were wounded when a dilapidated elevated water tank collapsed in village Soomar Jokhio near Thatta on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, an elevated water tank collapsed suddenly in village Soomar Jokhio as a result six children who were playing underneath were buried under the debris.
Residents retrieved the dead and injured from the debris on self help basis and shifted them to Civil Hospital in Makli. Hospital sources said that three of the injured are in critical condition.
