FBR extends date for filing tax returns till November 30
Only 0.35 million people have filed income tax returns till September 30.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns till November 30, 2018, Dunya News reported.
Sources said the process of filing income tax returns was slow due to the incentives given to non-filers in the mini budget announced by the PTI government.
Sources further said that only 0.35 million people have filed income tax returns till September 30 due to which the FBE has extended the deadline till November 30.
