ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – As a part of austerity drive, the government of Pakistan will auction at least eight Nili-Ravi buffaloes of Prime Minister House today (Thursday).

The buffaloes were kept at farmhouse of PM House during Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s tenure.

As per the notification, the competent authority has right to reject the bid on any grounds.

Earlier, 61 luxury vehicles of PM House were auctioned in two phases.

In his inaugural speech, PM Imran Khan stressed austerity measures. The premier stated that he would only keep with himself two employees out of 524 serving at the PM House. He also stated he would only use two cars.
