Zardari, Bilawal condole death of Kulsoom with Nawaz
Zardari said Kulsoom was a brave lady.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday condoled sad demise of Kulsoom Nawaz with Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra.
Terming Kulsoom a brave lady, Zardari told Nawaz nation would always remembers sacrifices rendered by the former first lady for democracy. He termed death of Kulsoom a ‘tragic loss’ for Sharif family.
“I regret that I wasn’t there for Kulsoom during her last moments. I thank PPP for standing beside Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in this hour of deep sorrow”, Sharif told Zardari.
Earlier today, Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhary Shujat Hussain arrived at Jati Umrah to offer condolences to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the death of his wife, former First Lady of Pakistan, Begum Kalsoom Nawaz.
