Condolences pour in after death of Kulsoom Nawaz

Shehbaz Sharif confirming the news that former first lady breathed her last at a clinic in London.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Condolences have started to pour in after death of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s wife, Begum Kulsoom Tuesday.
Prominent personalities including politicians and journalists took to their socialmedia accounts and expressed their grief over the demise of Kulsoom MNawaz.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) President Shehbaz Sharif, while confirming the news, said that the former first lady breathed her last at a clinic in London.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has also prayed for the departed soul. In a statement issued here, PM said all facilities will be provided to the Sharif family and heirs of Kalsoom Nawaz as per law.

As per details garnered, Khan termed late Kulsoom Nawaz courageous woman. PM Imran has also directed Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London to provide every possible legal assistance to relatives of the Kulsoom Nawaz.

The chiefs of three armed forces also extended their condolences.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his grief and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. In a statemnet issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief has prayed eternal peace for the departed soul.

PTI leader Shireen Mazari also twitted saying, “Truly saddened to hear of the passing of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. She was a courageous lady who confronted political adversity and illness with a resoluteness and quiet dignity.”

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto ermed Begum Kulsoom Nawaz as a brave woman who fought for democracy during Musharraf regime.

Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi also expressed grief.
