Four new ministers to be inducted into PM Khan's cabinet on Tuesday
Umar Ayub, Ali Zaidi, Mian Muhammad Soomro and Murad Saeed would take oath today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Four new federal ministers will take oath of their office in the third phase of expansion in the federal cabinet of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
Umar Ayub Khan, Ali Zaidi, Mian Muhammad Soomro and Murad Saeed would take oath as federal ministers today. With the new inductions, the strength of cabinet will become 28 which will include 20 federal ministers, one state minister, four advisers to prime minister and three special assistants to PM.
The oath-taking ceremony was to be held today at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (President House). However; it has been delayed by one day due to the engagements of President and Prime Minister.
Newly-elected President Dr Arif Alvi will administer the oath to new ministers tomorrow at 10:30 am.
Umar Ayub Khan will be given the portfolio of energy while Ali Zaidi will be given the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Muhammadmian Soomro will look after the affairs of privatisation. No decision about the portfolio of Murad Saeed has been taken yet.
