Sharjeel Memon appears before accountability court

Memon said that he will present his stance before inquiry committee regarding raid on sub-jail.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon on Saturday has said that he will present his stance before inquiry committee regarding raid on sub-jail.

On the occasion of his appearance in accountability court, the reporters asked Memon that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto is angry with him over which, he said that he has no idea about it.

He told that inquiry commission is holding investigation into the matter.

Earlier, former Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon had challenged his detention in an accountability court in Karachi.

NAB submitted evidence in the court against Sharjeel Memon comprising of thousands of pages and dozens of volumes.

Memon’s lawyer accused the NAB of telling lies as they arrested his client inside Sindh High Court but pretended that the move was made outside passport office.

Sharjeel Memon is accused of more than six billion rupees corruption case while heading the Sindh Information Ministry.
