Zardari submits Rs2 mn for pre-arrest bail in money laundering case
Zardari said PPP candidate Aitzaz Ahsan will not be out of presidential election race.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Ex-president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday has submitted Rs2 million for pre-arrest bail in money laundering case.
Arriving at the banking court, Zardari said PPP candidate Aitzaz Ahsan will not be out of presidential election race. However, it is possible that Fazlur Rehman may withdraw his name from the polls, he added.
Responding to a question related to helicopter controversy, Zardari said let’s see when he will be getting the helicopter that will cost Rs50 to Rs55 per kilometer.
