Summary The PCS officers on Thursday called off their strike unconditionally.
Talking to the media, the representatives of the Punjab Civil Service (PCS) Officers Association said that they had ended the strike as a goodwill gesture before a meeting (on Friday) with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. They said that they would put their demands before the chief minister and they were hopeful that he would lend an ear to them.
