Summary A spectacular ceremony was held in Corps Headquarters in Lahore to confer the awards and medals.
Lahore Corps Commander Lt Gen Rashid Mehmood conferred various military awards and medals on 89 army officers and soldiers in an impressive ceremony held in Corps Headquarters.The recipients of the awards had carry out their duties during peace and war without caring for their lives in line with glittering traditions of the Pakistan Army.At least 56 soldiers received Tamgha-e-Basalat and 28 Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. The awards of Tamgha-e-Basalat were received by Major Sajid Farooq of the Frontier Force Regiment and Captain Mohammad Azhar of the Armoured Corps.
