Shehbaz termed elections 2018 most controversial in country's history.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Fuming Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif has on Monday expressed indignation over bringing ousted prime minister (PM) and party s supremo Nawaz Sharif to accountability court in armoured vehicle.

Sharif perceived the treatment as unjust and called on authorities to not disrespect such former premier who had served country immensely. He said, “Don’t mortify former premier as he has served the masses”.

“Nawaz Sharif eliminated power cuts and made Pakistan an atomic power. Whole nation looks dejected over the way Nawaz has been brought in armoured vehicle”, stated Shehbaz.

He also warned caretaker set up not to repeat such humiliating procedure again.

On question about rigging, Shehbaz termed elections 2018 most controversial in country’s history. “2018 polls were most controversial elections in country’s history which were rejected by us on the very same day [July 25]”, claimed Sharif Jr.

However, PML-N president vowed to play active role in the parliament. “We will actively play role of opposition and try to hunt down the evidence of rigging in the elections”, Sharif told reporters.
